The BDAV has received a few enquiries from their Members as to whether they plan to repeat the popular Assessor Workshops, which they are happy to organise provided they receive sufficient interest. The half-day workshops, which are for accredited TPAs who use FirstRate5, have been very popular when previously offered. They are presented by Matthew Graham from Graham Energy, a well-regarded industry expert, trainer and mentor in the Nationwide House Energy Scheme. Matthew adopts a rigorous learning environment aimed to demystify the design process in energy ratings, to assist practitioners to make better-informed decisions about your energy ratings. These interactive four-hour workshops assist to instil confidence in assessors that they are correctly utilising the software and technical note. The program has been highly praised when previously held and many participants observed that they gained a lot of benefit from the workshop series, particularly the group discussion. Additionally, participation in this program provides a great opportunity for TPAs to top up ‘Technical’ CPD points, in the lead-up to accreditation renewals later in the year, as 4 CPD (Technical) points apply.
If you are interested in expressing interest for either the Introductory or the Intermediate workshop, please do so via the link below.
This does not bind you to attend: it simply gives the BDAV an indication of whether or not to proceed to coordinate a repeat of either session, provided they receive sufficient interest.
NOTE: Participants interested in the Intermediate workshop must have previously completed the Introductory session, but you can express interest in both if desired, as, typically, the Intro is held a few days prior to the Intermediate.
The expression of interest request is for sessions in Melbourne. However, if they receive sufficient numbers for interest in locations outside the CBD, they will also be considered.
